AI-assisted pitch deck review

Every pitch deserves a fair referee.

Pitchdeck Referee reads a startup pitch deck the way an experienced investor would. It scores the deck against weighted criteria, names the key risks and explains every call in plain language.

The Pitchdeck Referee app showing a list of reviewed decks, each with a sector, stage, score from 0 to 100, a band such as Prime or Solid, and a one-line verdict. A side panel shows adjustable criteria weights.

How a review works

From upload to verdict in three steps

The same method an investment committee applies, run the same way on every deck.

  1. STEP 1

    Upload the deck

Add a pitch deck as a PDF or PowerPoint (.pptx) file. Referee reads every slide, including charts and financial tables.

  2. STEP 2

    Scored against ten criteria

The criteria are grouped into story, market, business model, team and financial plan, and each group is weighted to the reviewer's investment thesis.

  3. STEP 3

    Read the verdict

A score out of 100, the strengths, the key risks and the questions an investor would likely raise before a first meeting.

Early stage
Developing
Solid
Strong
Prime

Every score comes with a band in plain words, so the result reads at a glance without relying on colour.

Principles

Built from the investor's side of the table

Impartial by design

Every deck is measured against the same criteria, and the weights behind each score are visible.

Constructive feedback

Strengths come first, followed by what to strengthen and why it matters to an investor.

Weighted to the thesis

Private equity, family offices, corporate and venture investors look for different things. The weights adapt to each.

Fund Manager & Investor

Pitchdeck Referee puts into software the way I have read pitch decks for more than 10 years: the same questions an investment committee asks, applied consistently to every company.

From 2013 to 2026 I led Investeers, a regulated alternative investment fund manager, as CEO and Chairman of the Board. Investeers was the investment manager of FIT (Innovation and Technology Fund), a public-private fund within Slovakia's National Holding Fund. Together with the team I built a portfolio of 16 technology companies, attracting co-investment worth more than half of the fund's own capital, predominantly from international investors.

As an Expert Evaluator (Horizon 2020) for the European Commission, I assessed innovation projects competing for EU funding, with a combined value of more than EUR 75 million. Building partnerships with strategic and financial investors has taken me from Singapore to Silicon Valley.
